NEWS 11th October: £100m Kaka to Chelsea, Lamps and Drogba to leave, and more
Phew! It all seems to be about Chelsea lately
NEWSFLASH...
- Abramovich is determined to get Kaka, regardless of cost. The deal is likely to be a world-record one (Teamtalk)
- John 'Bionic Man' Terry is suspected of having done his knee in training, and is likely to miss England's upcoming games. (BBC)
Papers BS :
- Chelsea yet again... The Mirror reckon Lampard and Drogba will be shipped out of Chelsea, because they are in a sulk after their mate Mourinho was turfed out ('mutual consent' my arse). Usual suspects want them... Real Madrid, Inter, Barcelona etc.
- More bad news for Lampard: He will not be recalled for England in the upcoming games, as Gareth Barry gets the nod for a holding-role berth after his recent excellent performances in the overpriced White jersey
- Man. City, and more specifically Sven Goran Eriksson, want a new 'keeper. Astonishingly, the man they want is Arsenal's 100 yr old moaner-in-chief Jens Lehmann.
- Eriksson also wants to buy Crouch from Liverpool and will pay up to £8m (Sun)
- Gary Neville still crocked with ankle ligaments... and won't be back for some time to come. (Star)
- Steve Bruce feeling the heat... reports that prospective new owner Carson Yeung wants him out.
- David Beckham still crocked. Way to spend £250m on a guy with a bad knee, Lalas. (Sun)
- David James reveals to the Sun how he is a committed environmentalist. Funny. He's the only green warrior I know who drives a 4-litre Bentley to work.
