Kewell out of contract

No new Liverpool contract for crocked Kewell

There will be no new contract for Liverpool attacker Harry Kewell in the summer, it has been revealed.

The Times says Kewell will be allowed to leave Anfield when his contract expires in June. Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic have been linked with the winger.

Kewell was again injured this week while on international duty with Australia. Despite the consistent moaning from the Australian media over his commitment to the green and gold, this week's setback is the third Kewell has suffered with the national team, having also been injured in last year's Asian Cup and the 2006 World Cup campaign.
