Yes he's a good player.
Yes he's charismatic.
Yes he's entertaining to watch.
But goddamn I can't stand Joel Griffiths.
So Slapnuts, as he prefers to be called after his run in with the ref last year, is about to play his 50th game for the Jets. Big woop. He shouldn't even be close after the above effort. But 50 games nontheless. And like I said, I won't deny that he's a gifted player (though I rate his brother higher and so must Aussie Pim). It's just that...well...he's an offensive little prat.
Nearly every game we see him snapping and barking at the referee or the linesmen like a crazed terrier, carrying on as if the game of football was made solely for him.
I'm getting tired of his petulant, spoiled child antics and it's about time the FFA did something about it. We're always banging on about being repectful to referees and other players and whatnot and it's always the usual suspects that get hauled over the coals. It's about time Griffiths' leash was tightened and his name was added to the FFA Hitlist.
