The news of Nasri yet to sign new contract with Arsenal just all over the web now. No matter where, everyday, we will see this news.
What make me sad is the way he decline the offer. Not that Arsenal didn't give him pay rise. in fact Arsenal give him 50% increment from his previous pay. from 60K per week to 90K per week. I sure will be more than happy to receive that amount of pay. For Nasri is just not enough, we demand 110K per week, a 83% increment. That is just ridiculous. 2 average season and 1 much better season and he already demand that amount of salaries?
And that is not just go to Nasri only. We have already seen many players leave just because the club didn't offer them big enough money. Ashley cole, Adebayor, just to name a few from Arsenal. And the smaller club really struggling keeping their starts players just because they cannot meet their salary demand.
For me, this type of attitude just show disrespect to the supporters. How many of the supporters even earn the like of 60K a month not to mention a week. Yet the spend their low and hard earn salary just to support their club.
My message to all those professional footballers out there, respect the supporters. if you want out, just say so. Don't demand too much. and one more thing, play with all your heart every game not just the season when you want to ask for pay rise.
